Notes: Foster dog Homer decided to leave his foster to go along with some walkers headed to the gym. He just hung out and visited until his foster mom got there to collect him. Homer has been with our rescue for three years and has not found his forever home yet. He is such a good boy. His biggest draw back is if he is left outside unattended for too long he seems to know how to open the gate to go visiting. Other than that he is such a great boy. Homer is such a good boy. Does fine with other dogs that we have introduced him to, neutered, heartworm negative. Loves attention but is a little strong on a leash (which would probably be less with more regular exercise). He is estimated to be around 6 to 7 years old and really needs a home to call his own. This high energy boy is Homer, a red and white male mixed breed that appears to be house trained. Homer would do best with an active family and a fenced yard. If you can give this dog a wonderful forever home, please fill out an adoption application form.

If you are interested in Homer, please fill out our Adoption Application Form to meet him.

Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
